After paying the school fee AND submitting all completed required school forms, your child(ren) will have their school picture taken.  Picture order forms will be included in the August mailing.

Classrooms will not be open.  You will be able to visit the classroom at Meet & Greet night on August 29th.

Mitchell's Meet and Greet (Parents and Students)

Time: 5:30-6:30pm

Please bring your child's school supplies and take them to the classroom.

Information Booths will be set up from 5:30 - 7:00m by various school groups and community organizations to see all that we have to offer.

5K - 5th Grade - $70.00

If you have been approved for Reduced Lunch, your child's school fees are 1/2 off (4K - $25, %k-5th - $35).  If you have been approved for Free Lunch, you child's school fees will be waived.  This information will be given to the office thru the district office.

5th Grade Graduation Celebration

Here's the schedule for 5th Grade on Wednesday!

​9:00 a.m. ​5th Grade Completion Ceremony (gymnasium). All 4/5 classes will watch their
                                  friends graduate.

​10:00 a.m.​ Yearbook Signing, 5th Grade Memory Booklets, 5th Grade Memory DVD, etc.

​11:30 a.m.          5th Grade Luncheon in the field house-pizza, chips, soda, and dessert

​12:30 p.m ​Walk to Knights of Columbus (3200 S. 103rd Street).
                                    Dress appropriately!

​1:00 p.m.​        2 games of bowling at Knights of Columbus (5th Grade)
                                   **All parents that volunteered to chaperone are invited to join.

​3:15 p.m. ​Return to Mitchell School

​3:30 p.m. ​Dismissal

 

There has been a bit of confusion about the 5th Grade Completion Ceremony. Family members are invited to join us. We look forward to seeing you all as we bid the 5th graders a fond farewell!

All 4th graders will be staying back and watching a movie with Mrs. Ceel and Mrs. Graff while Mr. Krupar and I take all the 5th graders bowling.
